Luxurious All Year Resort in Whistler

The next level up, the Fairmont Room, adds a fully outfitted work area, can handle up to four guests, has a King and a Queen sized bed, and is 400 square feet large. The Deluxe Valley View Room increases the luxury on all fronts yet further and gives a great view of the rising sun every morning as well. Fairmont’s Suites and Specialty Rooms come in 475, 800, and 1,200 square-foot sizes and add numerous other features for the enjoyment of guests. The most luxurious of all ways to stay at this incredible hotel resort, however, is to come as a Fairmont Gold guest. Even better rooms, special food and beverage services, a “Gold-only” lounge, French doors on a personal balcony, your very own jet-tub and marble bathroom, two flat-screen televisions, and much more are all available with the Fairmont Gold program.

Amenities

While there are extra, bigger, and better amenities that come with upgraded room types, all accommodations will include the following: air conditioning, coffee maker, tea kettle, color t.v., iron with board, security safe, telephone and voice mail, high-quality toiletries and bathrobes, and windows that give a spectacular view and let in the fresh wilderness air. Available upon request are: cribs, handicap tub-benches, wheelchairs, de-humidifiers, lamps, sofa-beds, and more. Microwaves and refrigerators can be had for a fee.

Activities

There is unlimited golf, ski-in and ski-out facilities, tennis, croquet, toboggan rental, various sports, board games, and both an indoor and outdoor pool with relaxing pool deck. Inside one can use the Vida Spa and exercise at the Health Club and Fitness Center. Fine Dining

This resort includes a large number of in-hotel restaurants. The Wildflower Restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner, and you can choose Fairmont’s healthy Lifestyle Cuisine menu if you desire. In Town

The Audain Art Museum is set to open next year, the Whistler Sliding Centre is nearby, and a number of beautiful parks and nature reserves are in the areas, such as Blackcomb Glacier Provincial Park and Whistler Olympic Park. Numerous impressive waterfalls are in the neighborhood and a ride from Blackcomb Mountain to Whistler Mountain on the Peak 2 Peak Gondola cable car is not to be missed.
